Conceptual design lays the foundations for developing an interactive application. Specifically it allows to structure the navigation and the Information Architecture. In order to carry out this activity, the methodology called INSIDE (Information and Navigation Strategies for Interface DEsign) is used.
Capturing high-level communication goals, considering several user profiles and stakeholders, defining hypermedia-specific requirements (concerning navigation, content, information structure and presentation aspects), and reusing requirements for an effective usability evaluation. The activity consists in the definition of a complete list of requirements that the new user experience design and the overall web site lifecycle should be based upon. S’nce Group makes use of AWARE, a stakeholder centered methodology. The model extends traditional goal and scenario-based approaches for refining high level goals into website requirements.
The objective is to create a series of wireframes (functional interfaces) that will be the base for the graphic design and technical implementation. An in-depth study is offered, not only in the scope of social media but also in the scope of call-to-action to stimulate the user to consult the contents as well as to take real actions (ask for a card, subscribe to a service, share content). Through the methodology SCENT (Semiotic Content Evaluation and Naming Technique) it is possible to define the "language" to be used within the website. One of the key factors of a successful interaction between a web site and a user is the correct choice of "labels", "titles", "headings" because they are the elements that anticipate both the site contents and structure.
We believe in a scientific approach rather than just creativity. Brand innovation and design should always be "functional" to the business objectives and user/consumer satisfaction. That is why creativity is the final stage, consistent with what defined in terms of requirements, information architecture, interaction design and interface semiotics. Every creative element has the function to stimulate and be emotional, but mostly to convert the consumer attention into a fluid, pleasant and effective interaction with the brand.
Any promotion and marketing activity should be tracked and managed through innovative tracking tools, able to monitor consumer behaviours before, during and after the purchase or any interaction with the brand. Market and buzz listening, online reputation, social marketing, media planning, affiliate programs are only few examples of the different strategies that S’nce proposes in order to empower the business of its clients.
During the design and development of interactive applications the most important and essential point of view is the user. Different evaluation and tracking tools can be used in order to keep track of the user satisfaction. S’nce makes use of MUSE, an empowerment of MiLE+, a methodology validated in the international arena and aimed at evaluating the user experience in a cross-media perspective.
